Tingly is a merchant prince who hails from an hellish dimension of greedy and treacherous demons. Tingly runs markets and conducts trade in different dimensions to fuel his quest to create a world-spanning business empire, and subject everyone to the comfortable oppression under his artisanally-crafted, well-heeled boots.
Signature Abilities: Beast Senses (Mental), Incredible Strength (Physical)
Once a proud knight from a distant land, who offended the Gods of the Wilds, Ren was cursed for his impiety with lycanthropy. Ren lost himself to the bloodthirsty urges of the beast, and committed many acts of carnage. No law or king could control him, and thus, Ren was exiled, becoming a wanderer of the wastelands.
Vristavella has joined Cedric and Fumblehop’s party to investigate what is happening to her swamp and the lands around it. The party managed to infiltrate the swamp bandit’s lair and set the slaves in the lair free.
To her surprise, the lair sat on top of a knot of magical leylines and a powerful portal. Vristavella managed to open the portal, and while they were travelling, Vristavella had strong visions of seeing the ruins of Saintrest overrun by zombies and looked over by a large black dragon known as Alanoei…
Upon arriving in Swamptallow the demon market, Vristavella marchs forth and in a queenly fashion, engages Tingly the demon merchant in a card game with the freedom of the human slaves at stake. Vristavella sees through Tingly’s attempts to cheat not once, but twice, and Tingly the demon merchant admitted defeat. However, just as Tingly turned to walk away from the party, Cedric, overcome by rage, rushes forth with his sword to try to smite the merchant…
On this journey of self-discovery with his best friend Fumblehop and the Swamp Witch Vristavella, Cedric is finding himself more and more inspired to do good, recovering a little from his disillusion. Fumblehop has shown Cedric full support along the way, and is very glad that Cedric seems to be looking more like himself.
The intrepid party managed to infiltrate the swamp bandit fortress where they rescue more human slaves. In the fortress, Vristavella manages to activate a magical portal, which brings them to the demon market of Swamptallow.
In Swamptallow, Cedric grows increasingly angry at the treatment of the people of his homeland. How much have they lost? What have they done to deserve such treatment? Why wasn’t I here! Filled with rage and an urgent need to right these wrongs, Cedric charges at the demon merchant Tingly with his sword raised. Just as he is about to strike…
Fumblehop the rogue, together with the help of the lizard shaman Zebezad, saved some children from the hands of the swamp bandits, the Peat Smashers. On this journey, Fumblehop discovered some disturbing news – a man fitting the description of his best friend Cedric was seen cavorting with dark forces and the Dark Cult. Not wanting to upset his friend any further, Fumblehop investigates the sighting alone.
On this journey, Fumblehop finds out to his horror that the dark knight is Cedric’s twin brother! Fumblehop manages to escape the clutches of the dark knight, but not before being turned into a werewolf. He is now back with the party, but hiding a deadly secret. He fears the full moon and might harm his best friend.

Cedric was born and raised in Saintrest. As a youth, Cedric was accepted as a member of the Knights of the Lightning Opal, an elite group of knights who search the world for signs of the mysterious Lightning Opal, a sacred gem of great power. Cedric left home nearly a decade ago, seeking the Lightning Opal, to no avail. Thus, Cedric was away from Saintrest when the dark forces ravaged his home. Once an earnest questing knight, Cedric has now become doubtful of his quest and himself, and blames himself for not being present to defend his family, friends, and home from evil. However, Cedric still possesses the might and training of a Lightning Opal Knight, and will no doubt need that strength to help him in these dark days ahead.
Signature Abilities: Fast Reflexes (Physical), Eidetic Memory (Mental)
Fumblehop is Cedric’s best friend, who also grew up in Saintrest. As a youth, Fumblehop joined Cedric in the tests to enter the elite order of the Seekers of the Lightning Opal, but Fumblehop was not of noble birth, and did not make the cut. Fumblehop became an treasure hunter, and sometime uses his abilities to help his childhood friend. Fumblehop pretends to be dumber and clumsier than he actually is, so that others would underestimate him, but he is very fast and understands things very quickly. Fumblehop is quite worried about Cedric’s dour moods, and although he is sad about the fall of Saintrest, he believes the town and its people can still be saved.
Signature Abilities: Imperious Glare (Social), Witchcraft (Mental)
Vristavella is an immortal Witch-Queen, who ruled over an ancient city that is lost to the depths of the Murkglade Swamp. A sorceress of immense skill in the arcane arts, who prefers to spend her time exploring the vast cosmos, Vristavella prefers to ignore others, and be ignored in return. However, the Witch-Queen now feels compelled to return to the world of mortals; the nearby town of Saintrest has been conquered by demons, and Vristavella has no wish for the Murkglade Swamp to be similarly overrun. Spurred to action by equal parts annoyance and curiosity, the Witch-Queen travels with Fumblehop and Cedric to Saintrest. (When they were boys, they were polite to her, and so she remembers them well – not necessarily fondly, but without an excess of irritation.)
